In general, ADB consulting contracts may be extended to a reasonable degree when doing so is justified within ADB's core 
procurement principles. Any extensions are subject to operational needs, consultant performance, and continued availability of 
funds.

The service scope of Pine Forest Disease Prevention Project- Monitoring and Prevention System 2 (Satellite Remote 
Sensing, Drone Aerial Monitoring) covers pine forests around Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, with a construction period of 
5 years (2021-2025). The service contents are as follows:
The monitoring service should be carried out once a year, that is monitoring in autumn from September to October every 
year. The monitoring area is pine forests around Mount Huangshan Scenic Area (including Tangkou Town, Sankou Town, 
Gengcheng Town and Jiaocun Town in Huangshan District, and Hongcun Town in Yi County), covering an area of about 
210,000 mu. Each drone aerial area is 7300 hm2 (about 110000 mu, accounting for about 50% of the area of pine forests). 
During the project construction period (2021-2025), a total of 37000 hm2 /times (550000 Mu/times) of drone aerial 
photography monitoring will be carried out.
